The lucky winner now has 60 days to claim this jackpot from the FDJ. Otherwise, the amount will be put back into play.

A new millionaire. Tuesday evening, the jackpot of 73 million euros put into play by EuroMillions was won by a Frenchman, announced the Française des Jeux (FDJ). The lucky winner checked the following combination: 23 – 31 – 37 – 42 – 48. Before doing the same on the complementary numbers: stars 3 and 7. But it is not not alone. Four other Europeans won more than 140,000 euros for matching all the numbers and one star out of two. Three others will get 45,000 euros for guessing the right numbers, without any stars.

As a reminder, five of the ten biggest EuroMillions winnings were won in France, the country with the largest number of players. If these 73 million are far from being negligible, they are in no way comparable with the 240 million won by an Austrian in December or the 230 million pocketed by a Briton in 2022. This new millionaire French now has 60 days to come forward to the FDJ. Otherwise, the amount will simply be put back into play.
