A former elected LR released in an unworthy housing trial

According to information from The Marseillaise, ten owners, including the former elected LR Bernard Jacquier, were released in the trial of the degraded condominium located at 25 rue de Crimée in Marseille. The elected official had resigned from his post after the regional daily revealed that he was the owner of this property complex hit by an imminent danger decree. A revelation that came the day after the tragedy in the rue d’Aubagne which claimed the lives of eight people in November 2018.

The trustee, however, was convicted. Three years of suspended prison sentence and a fine of 5,000 euros had been requested against these owners for not having acted to put an end to a situation of insalubrity then of danger in this condominium in downtown Marseille.
