This is not an exercise. On Saturday, a fire broke out at the end of the afternoon in the Plouisy firefighters training center, near Guingamp (Côtes d’Armor). The fire reportedly started in a disused hangar on a former industrial site which normally serves as a training ground for firefighters according to information from West France.
The incident was quickly brought under control by about thirty firefighters. About 300 of the 1,000 m² of the building were affected. According to the daily, no injuries are to be deplored, the hangar being empty at the time of the fire. The reasons for the start of the fire are not yet established. Surveys were carried out on the spot in order to know the circumstances. The police opened an investigation.
