20 percent of young people in Germany have never heard of climate change. This is the result of a representative survey by International Central Institute for Youth and Educational Television a department of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation. 1,468 children and young people between the ages of six and 19 were surveyed. “We have the feeling that the topic is so present that everyone knows about it. But that’s not true at all,” says institute and study director Maya Götz.
