Nightmarish scene in Seine-et-Marne. A 6-year-old boy was found with his throat slit this Sunday in Tournan-en-Brie, his mother and sister were seriously injured, said the Melun prosecutor, confirming a news from Actu17. Facts for which the father of the family is suspected.
The gendarmes were called around 3 p.m. to a house from which a family burst out screaming, covered in blood. On the spot, a 6-year-old boy was found dead with his throat slit. His 10-year-old sister, the mother and the father also all three have more or less serious neck wounds, caused by a knife. The sister was transported to the Necker hospital, where her vital prognosis was no longer engaged at the start of the evening. In less critical condition, the mother and father were admitted to separate hospitals.
A bloody cutter discovered at the scene
“According to the first elements, it would seem that the facts were committed by the father”, declared the prosecutor Jean-Michel Bourlès who went on the spot. Investigators seized a bloodied box cutter at the scene. The state of health of the suspect did not allow Sunday evening to hear him under the regime of police custody, he was placed under surveillance in the hospital.
According to the prosecution, the suspect is not known to the judicial services or the local gendarmes. He is also not followed by the social services of this locality of 8,700 inhabitants in the center of the department. The autopsy of the deceased child will be carried out on Monday morning. The investigation is entrusted to the gendarmes of the research brigade of Melun with the assistance of the research section of Paris.
