A driver from Bercy has his car stolen… and access cards to the Élysée

It’s not a luxury vehicle that was stolen. But it contained several sensitive objects. Including two access cards to the Elysée Palace. According to our information, confirming that ofEurope 1a driver from the Ministry of Economy and Finance filed a complaint on Sunday for the theft of his unmarked Peugeot 3008.

The complainant presented himself around 8:35 a.m. at the Sevran police station (Seine-Saint-Denis) to report the theft of his car, a little earlier in the morning. The sedan was parked in front of his home and contained the driver’s passport, a flashing light, a fuel card, a “police” sun visor as well as the two access cards to the Elysée.

An investigation was opened by the Bobigny public prosecutor’s office which had not yet responded to our requests.
