After the repeated breakdowns of the metro – seven in less than two months – Bruno Bernard, the president of Sytral de Lyon announced Wednesday that a commercial gesture will be made towards users. A 25% discount will be applied to subscriptions for the month of October, he indicated on the set of BFM Lyon. This represents a drop of just over 16 euros on the full price formula (66.40 euros).
Subscribers who have opted for monthly direct debit will not have to do anything. “We already have their bank details so that they can have a transfer directly to their accounts”, specifies Bruno Bernard. The others will have to connect to the TCL website.
It remains to be seen who will finance this commercial gesture? “I hope that Keolis will take care of it”, answers the president of Sytral, pointing out also many dysfunctions observed at the operator of the network. “That there are breakdowns is one thing, but our users must be able to be properly informed in order to organize themselves, he judges. Keolis has been operating Lyon public transport for 30 years, they cannot rest on their laurels. »
