A man was shot dead overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday in the town of Carquefou, north of Nantes, reports the national gendarmerie. Another person was also injured by at least one shot. The circumstances of the tragedy are, for the moment, unknown.
Investigations are ongoing. An investigation was opened by the Nantes research section supported by the Nantes company, specifies the gendarmerie.
According to West Francethe two victims were discovered in the parking lot of the Golden Tulip hotel residence, in the Maubreuil district. They were customers of this rather upscale establishment.
