A family drama, for which investigators are still trying to understand the reasons, has just taken place in Notre-Dame-de-Riez in Vendée. A retired couple was found dead at his home and the son was taken into custody, we learned on Sunday from the Sables-d’Olonne prosecutor’s office, which favors the criminal track.
The bodies were discovered overnight from Saturday to Sunday and the son, born in 1984 and living with his parents, was arrested at the scene. The couple did not die by firearm, the same source said, without being able to indicate for the moment the operating mode used. Autopsies will be performed in the coming days.
