A complaint for rape filed against Olivier Ubéda, adviser to Eric Zemmour

The investigation started more than a month ago. Olivier Ubéda, the director of events for candidate Eric Zemmour, is the subject of a complaint for rape filed on December 9, learned 20 minutes this Monday, confirming information
published by our colleagues from BFMTV. The 51-year-old man is also the communications adviser to the former editorialist launched in the race for the presidential election.

An investigation, entrusted to the 1st DPJ (judicial police district), was opened on December 10 by the Paris prosecutor’s office, the day after the filing of the complaint against Olivier Ubéda. Contacted by BFMTV, Eric Zemmour’s adviser disputed the accusations, referring to a “set-up as we do in the countryside”.

According to the channel, this complaint was filed by “an 18-year-old young man who worked alongside him as an intern when he joined the team of the far-right candidate”.
