A call for witnesses launched after the death of a cyclist found on the A42 motorway

The CRS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes launched a call for witnesses after the discovery of the body of a cyclist, found in the middle of the A42 motorway in the town of Vaulx-en-Velin, near Lyon. The drama would have been tied in the night from Friday to Saturday, around 5 am.

The victim, a man in his twenties, was riding Vélo’v (self-service bicycle) when he was mowed down. By who ? And how ? The suspicions are directed towards three heavyweights which would have stopped “a hundred meters after the accident”, reports Progress.

Investigators are also looking for anyone who could help identify the cyclist, who was dressed in light blue in-game shorts and a blue hoodie. He wore Nike slides on his feet and a black Adidas cap. If you have any information, you can contact the CRS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes on 04 72 47 20 60.
