Stefan Thor has not entered the Nuremberg Christkinder gallery, at least not the official one. And it is also out of the question that he will have a kind of historical competition this Wednesday in the town hall of Nuremberg when a jury from the remaining six applicants will choose the new Christ Child. Twelve female aspirants were shortlisted this season; they all use first names such as Sarah, Emma, Nele, Sophia or Jessica. A Stefanie is not available, but it would have been conceivable. A Stefan is also not on the note – and, moreover, would be, well, unthinkable.
