A biopic on Cyril Lignac in preparation

A movie to devour! “For the cinema, we produce Dragon, a biopic on Cyril Lignac which will be released before the summer in 150 cinemas in France”, announces Matthieu Jean-Toscani, boss of the Story Plus group – which brings together Kitchen Factory, La Famiglia and M. Jean Factory – in an interview granted to
Media+.

The realization is left to Hervé Martin-Delpierre, director of the documentary Daft Punk Unchained. “He has been following the favorite chef of the French for two and a half years. We want to take this film to international festivals,” says Matthieu Jean-Toscani.

The title of the biopic, Dragon, refers to the last establishment acquired by Cyril Lignac, a cocktail bar in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.

“Tous en cuisine”, sold in “nearly 50 countries”

The producer also announced the creation of a studio at Kitchen Factory, in association with AMP Visual TV, dedicated to event numbers of Everyone in the kitchen on M6. “Internationally, the format has been sold in nearly 50 countries,” he rejoiced.

Matthieu Jean-Toscani is, moreover, not opposed to a return of Yes sir ! , the cooking show that followed the creation and opening of Cyril Lignac’s gastronomic restaurant, Le Quinzieme, in Paris in 2005: ” Yes sir ! is a format that belongs to Fermante, but for which we managed the editorial. It is a brand that we would like to bring back. The show marked a whole generation. It is still current. »

In the meantime, Cyril Lignac will be back on the small screen for season 2 of My cake is the best in France, before new event episodes of Everyone in the kitchen.
