A 55-year-old driver collided with the electric scooter on the A 96, damaging the oil pan of her vehicle. Two of the three lanes then have to be closed for several hours.
An e-scooter lying on Autobahn 96 near Munich caused an accident with a trace of oil. It was initially unclear how the e-scooter got onto the A96. According to the police on Monday, a 55-year-old driver collided head-on with the e-scooter lying on the road on Sunday night. The collision caused the oil pan to be so badly damaged that a 200 meter long trail of oil formed.
The 55-year-old’s car had to be towed away, the police estimate the damage at 10,000 euros. Two of the three lanes were closed for almost three hours to remove the oil slick.
