A 77-year-old pilot slightly injured after a spectacular ULM accident

A ULM plane crashed on Saturday afternoon near Nîmes (Gard), without causing any casualties. The machine ended its race very close to the national 86, the nose in the vegetation, indicates the Fire and rescue service of Gard.

The circumstances that led to the crash of the aircraft are not known.

Miraculously, the pilot of the machine, a 77-year-old man, despite “the strong kinetics”, was only slightly injured, indicate the department’s firefighters, who committed significant resources to the intervention. The septuagenarian was evacuated “in relative emergency”, to the city hospital center, for treatment.
