A 19-year-old young man was found hanging from a tree on Monday in the Jardin des Dauphins in Grenoble (Isère), reports The Dauphine Libere. Joggers discovered the victim around 8 p.m. on the Bastille site. The young man was then unconscious, but still alive.
Dispatched to the scene, the firefighters and the emergency services were unable to revive him. An investigation has been opened by the Grenoble prosecutor’s office to find out the circumstances of the tragedy. The prosecutor, Eric Vaillant, said on BFM that according to the first elements of the investigation, the thesis of suicide was privileged.
