A fatal accident occurred on the night of Saturday August 5 to Sunday August 6 on a Luna Park carousel in Cap d’Agde (Hérault), franceinfo learned on Sunday from a police source.
Shortly before two o’clock in the morning, the carousel mechanism broke, while two people were on board: a 17-year-old young man and a 19-year-old young woman. The teenager died, the young woman is polytraumatized. She was taken care of by the emergency services and transported to Montpellier hospital.
The attraction is closed for the time of the investigation, specifies the police source. The exact circumstances of this tragedy are currently unknown.
