A dramatic accident at work took place this Thursday morning in Loire-Atlantique. The firefighters were called shortly before 9 a.m. to a construction site, route de Clisson, in the town of Saint-Lumine-de-Clisson, in the Nantes vineyards. A wall had just collapsed on a 15-year-old apprentice.
Despite attempts to resuscitate the emergency services, the young boy died. He was from a neighboring town. According Ocean Press, the schoolboy was on an internship in a company. He was taking part in the demolition of the garage of a house.
An investigation was opened by the gendarmes of the Compagnie de Rezé to determine the circumstances of this accident.
