A 14-year-old girl missing since December 22 in Marseille found in Paris

A teenager, aged 14, and who lives in Marseille, was found at Lyon station, in Paris, this Saturday, December 30, we learned Le Figaro with the public prosecutor’s office in Marseille, confirming the information from BFMTV.

The girl had been missing since December 22. She presented herself at the Gare de Lyon police station, explaining that she had run away. The police actually noticed that she was the subject of a search card. An investigation had been open since the day of her disappearance for the worrying disappearance of a minor.

“Makeshift accommodation”

The teenager explains having run away in “ finding makeshift accommodation », according to the elements of the prosecution cited by Le Figaro. According to this same source, she indicated that she did not report “of no constraint or facts of which she could have been a victim”.

BFMTV had collected testimony from her father this Saturday, explaining that he had warned his daughter against her relationships, particularly her boyfriend. He claimed to have found a letter from the latter in his room explaining to him that she was leaving.

Her father is on his way to pick her up, the prosecution said.
