A 14-year-old girl was found dead in Munich – it is said to have been stabbed. The police are looking for an acquaintance of the girl. The 17-year-old is considered a suspect.

A police spokesman said the girl had stab wounds. Now the police have clarified several details. As in the first piece of information, she does not speak of “stab wounds” that the girl had, but of “violence”. The “Bild” had previously reported that the girl was killed with several stitches in the chest area.

Use in Munich

The girl’s 17-year-old ex-boyfriend was suspect. However, the police no longer refer to the suspect as an ex-boyfriend. “We assume that they knew each other beforehand,” said the police spokesman on Sunday afternoon. The youth is being searched for.

The mother called the police on Sunday morning that the student was found lifeless in her parents’ apartment. The investigators were therefore alerted by an emergency call to the house in the Munich district of Bogenhausen. A resuscitation of the girl was unsuccessful. The act probably happened during the night, said the spokesman. Rescue workers tried in vain to reanimate the girl.

In the Bogenhausen district in the east of Munich there was a major police operation on Sunday afternoon. A hundred searched the area, according to the police, this is routine in a homicide.

Motive unclear

The police initially did not provide any information about why the 17-year-old is considered a suspect. The on-site investigations had shown that they were going out from him, said a spokesman. A possible motive was initially unclear.

As is customary in such cases, the girl’s body is to be autopsied. According to the police, it was still unclear when the autopsy would take place on Sunday afternoon.
