Banking crisis: Between fear and a sigh of relief – Economy

Is it just a breather before things get worse again, or is the situation on the financial markets calming down again? On Monday, Deutsche Bank shares started to climb again, which is now an indicator of the overall situation in the European banking market. Germany’s largest money house has apparently been the focus of the financial markets since Credit Suisse had to be rescued in an emergency takeover by rival UBS a week ago. But the Ifo business climate index, which the Munich economic institute published on Monday, surprisingly improved compared to the previous month. 9,000 managers who were asked about their mood do not seem to be concerned about the latest banking crisis. The German leading index Dax was also listed significantly firmer on Monday.
