Firefighters were called shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday night. An individual alerts them that a man has been seriously injured in an apartment located on the 14th floor of the building at number 1 rue de la Volga, in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine). The firefighters already know that a fight broke out in the accommodation located in Blosne, a popular district in the south of the Breton capital. The emergency services entered the accommodation, supported by the police, and discovered the lifeless body of a 45-year-old man. The resuscitation attempt will be in vain and the man will be declared dead on the spot.
The firefighters also take care of another victim. A 35-year-old man was injured in the head and transported to the CHU Pontchaillou. We do not yet know the circumstances of the tragedy. The deceased man is said to have received multiple blows. According to West France, significant traces of blood were found in the apartment. An investigation was opened by police.
