A missing 93-year-old sailor was found dead from Lake Constance near Lindau. According to police information on Wednesday, the water police found the man’s body last Friday at a depth of around 60 meters.
Two weeks ago, the man fell overboard from his sailing boat between Lindau Island and the Rhine dam for an unknown reason. Witnesses on another boat heard cries for help, but did not find the man on his boat or in the water. They informed the emergency services.
The search for the 93-year-old initially yielded no results. A diving robot finally located the man’s body near the scene of the accident. According to police, there was no evidence of foul play
