Test for the correct spacing, but also verify that the closet door still closes after the cover is in place.

You can also use a support bar. These small metal rails allow the cover to slide inside. It is then the handle of the cover that prevents it from slipping and falling.

Use a magnetic knife bar

Pot lids can also be installed on magnetic knife holders or any other magnetic support. You can install this system inside a cupboard door, near the cooking space, etc. Your lids are easy to store and grab. However, this solution is not suitable for pan lids which, due to their weight or their material, would not magnetize.

Create lid organizers with hangers

You can also use a hanger to achieve supports for your lids. For this, you need thin hangers to which you can give the appropriate shape. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Pull in the center of the lower part of the hanger until you get a diamond;
  2. On each side of the low point of the rhombus, pull the rod upwards, this makes it possible to form a sort of M;
  3. Pull the part forming the M forwards;
  4. Slide your lid, adjusting according to its shape;
  5. You can then create another one that you will hang on the hook part, etc.

Choose magazine racks

For the storage of your lids, it is possible touse one or more magazine rack. To have your lids close at hand, you can install this or these magazine rack wherever it suits you.
