Factory-style industrial decor
They say that industrial decoration is timeless, and that is not entirely wrong! But if this style has managed to establish itself so lastingly, it is precisely because it does not hold back from evolving. In recent years, we have fallen in love with Factory industrial decoration: its vintage craft furniture, its raw materials and its strong character.
This season, however, marks the end of its popularity! From now on, we prefer the neo-industrial look, which reinterprets the industrial look in a refined version to the point of minimalism.
The pink color
Pantone got the ball rolling by choosing Viva Magenta! color of the year 2023. The international success of the film Barbie has made us see life in candy pink. But this season, it must be said: vibrant, pastel or gourmand, pink is starting to tire of us!
A key trend of the season, green is the color of the moment! We particularly like subtle shades like sage green, slightly gray, or khaki green. And we also love dark shades, which create an atmosphere that is both fresh and captivating. Are you more in the warm colors team? Go for red or orange!
The Chesterfield sofa
In leather version, it is the icon of loft decor. In recent seasons, it has also been available in velvet, in an incredible range of colors. This is the Chesterfield sofa – which we ended up believing could not be unbolted. And yet, this fall, he too is feeling a little sluggish!
Without being totally has-been, the Chesterfield sofa has a hard time resisting the minimalist Bold sofa or the retro velvet sofa inspired by the 70s.
The very wise monochrome decor
Monochrome decoration has the particularity of being peaceful. The fact is that it can also lack personality – especially when you opt for a very bright neutral such as white, beige or even ecru color.
This fall, we’re breaking away from this too-smooth trend! If neutrals have not said their last word, we preferably adopt them in monochrome, and we add a touch of brown to give depth to our interior.
The TV in the center of the living room
For a long time, the TV has established itself as the center of attention in the living room. It’s very simple: we even arranged the armchairs and the sofa according to its location. Let it be said: those days are over!
Beyond a simple decoration trend, the time has come for slow living. Rather than focusing on the screen, we happily sit in the living room to read, chill or chat. To the point that we are increasingly coming to arrange a living room with two sofas facing each other – without hesitating to combine two mismatched sofas.
The total organic look
Organic decoration is one of the big back-to-school trends. But don’t get carried away, otherwise you’ll make a mistake! If the rounded sofa, the curvy sideboard, the mirror and the organic coffee table are stunning and very trendy separately, the risk is indeed to overdo it!
To avoid bad taste, you have to learn to dose correctly. We therefore strive to mix rounded elements with pieces with a stricter design. For example, we combine a sideboard with straight lines with an organic mirror, or a corner sofa with a coffee table with rounded lines.
The bohemian macramé & rattan tandem
We cannot deny that bohemian decoration is full of charm. But after an undivided reign on the networks and in our interiors, this very wise look which gives pride of place to macramé and rattan furniture seems to be running out of steam.
This fall, it’s official: the bohemian look is taking on colors. We focus on warm colors: ocher, terracotta, cognac color or brown. Unless you adopt a gypsy spirit, with lots of vibrant colors and patterns. And when it comes to furniture, we forget the 100% cane and rattan look!
