A very natural autumn decor

Flamboyant, nature in autumn! And unsurprisingly, leaves are our main allies for creating seasonal decorations.

The autumnal leaf garland is one of the easiest DIYs to make. All you need to make it is a piece of wire and a large quantity of leaves. We start by giving a nice rounded shape to the wire, then we thread the leaves one after the other, not skimping on the number. Once the wreath is finished, it’s up to you to decide whether you keep it as it is or whether you enhance it with a ribbon or a light garland.

The alternative to the crown is the mobile-style wall decoration! To make it, you again need an assortment of leaves, a branch or a piece of driftwood and some string. Depending on your inspiration, you can add wooden beads, wool pompoms or even dried orange slices, or even cinnamon sticks.

To preserve your decoration, consider wax, which guarantees better hold of the leaves. The principle is simple: just melt the wax in a saucepan and use tongs to handle the leaves. After dipping the first one in the wax, wait a few seconds for it to begin to harden before placing the sheet on a cloth or piece of paper towel, until completely dry.

A marker, paint, or even liquid white corrector make it easy to customize sheets. Once you have decorated them with the pattern of your choice, use them as decoration by placing them in a tray or along the table runner, or integrate them into another project such as the frame or the garland.

Candles are one of the easiest elements to customize. We particularly like them in a spicy version, surrounded by cinnamon sticks tied with a ribbon, a piece of string or a strand of raffia. This version is even smarter because you just need to accessorize them with a fir twig to transform them into delightful Christmas decorations!

The bouquet of autumnal flowers is ideal for bringing a little cheerfulness to the decor. To highlight it perfectly, we offer it a personalized vase. If you want to keep your flowers fresh for a long time, opt for a glass pot or vase in the center of which you place a smaller model. Then fill the gap between the walls with corn kernels, small pine cones, or even leaves. Don’t be afraid to add details – here, we’ve wrapped a jute cord around the top of the vase.

To create a delicious table decoration, you will have to sacrifice a few apples (preferably red ones!). Hollow them out to insert a tea light, and all you have to do is place them in the center of the table. Do you tinker? To save time, get the drill and a flat countersink bit!
