Abou Chaker clan auctions former property of Bushido and Arafat
A villa ensemble that previously belonged to rapper Bushido and his former business partner Arafat Abou-Chaker has been foreclosed on. It goes against 7.4 million euros: to a member of the Abou Chaker clan.
The villa ensemble, which previously belonged to the rapper Bushido together with the Berlin clan figure Arafat Abou-Chaker, was foreclosed on Wednesday. The only bidder got a chance for 7,401,500 euros: Abou-Chaker’s son.
The sum of the 21-year-old corresponded to the minimum sum that had to be offered at the first appointment for the foreclosure sale. The property in Kleinmachnow south of Berlin is valued twice as high according to the so-called market value, which the court had named, and is more than 14.8 million. Bushido and his former partner followed the events in silence.
14 days objection possible
After the auction, half of the proceeds go to the former business partners. If no objection is lodged within the next 14 days, the houses and plots of land, including the debts that encumber the property, become the property of the bidder. Between the villas lies loud “star” an underground shell for a wellness area that may have to be demolished due to a lack of permits.
According to the “Stern”, bidders had to deposit a security of 1.4 million euros at the Potsdam district court.
Before the appointment, Günter Kaiser, responsible for the foreclosure portal of the state justice administration (ZVG.com), explained in the rbb: “If it were a normal house, the market value would be far exceeded.” In this case, it was “a little more special,” says Kaiser.
Abou-Chaker lives in one of the villas
Abou-Chaker lives on the premises in a 560 square meter mansion. A second 634-square-meter building that Anis Ferchichi, aka Bushido, lived in with his family is currently empty. The ensemble on the 16,674 square meter property previously belonged to the two men in half. However, they have fallen out. According to the magazine “Stern”, Bushido had enforced the foreclosure against Abou-Chaker’s wish.
Have been at odds with each other for years
The former friends and business partners are now deeply at odds. For about two years, both have been in a legal dispute before the Berlin Regional Court. In the process with Bushido as a joint plaintiff and witness, his former partner is in court together with three of his brothers. The charges are deprivation of liberty, attempted aggravated extortion, coercion, dangerous bodily harm, insult and infidelity.
According to the rapper, his longtime business partner and his brothers are said to have locked him in an office on January 18, 2018, verbally abused, threatened and injured him. The background is said to have been that the clan boss did not accept that the musician had dissolved the business relationship.
In April 2013, it became known that three years earlier, Bushido had issued Abou-Chaker a notarized general power of attorney. This authorized him to freely dispose of Bushido’s property, assets and accounts. Legal transactions in Bushido’s name were possible. This power of attorney, which was also made public by “Stern” at the time, was also valid after Bushido’s death.
