Frédérique Porterie, the public prosecutor of Bordeaux, confirms daily South West that a 5-year-old child was found dead on Sunday in the home in the Bordeaux area where he had been placed. The firefighters and the Samu called to the boy’s bedside could not resuscitate him.
The magistrate specifies that “no trace of abuse was found”. An investigation was opened to find the origin of the causes of death. But the preferred hypothesis is that of a natural death “very likely in connection with a birth illness from which the child suffered”.
The autopsy which has been ordered should confirm this hypothesis.
