4 people in absolute urgency, 30,000 festival-goers expected this Saturday

Attendance at the festival, currently around 23,000 participants, should increase in the coming hours. The rescuers counted 64 cumulative entries at the medical station.

The “teufeurs” continued to flock this Saturday for the 30th anniversary of Teknival, high mass of rave parties organized since Thursday in Villegongis, a small village in Indre, where the number of participants exceeded 23,000 at the start of the morning according to the prefecture .

Attendance at this Teknival could reach 30,000 in the coming hours.

The press release from the prefecture also indicates that 4 participants are currently in absolute urgency, 58 in relative urgency and 2 involved.

“The SDIS counts a cumulative 64 entries to the advanced medical post (29 this night) (…); 13 people were evacuated to the hospital center of Châteauroux”, he also explains.

The gathering was prohibited by the authorities who, however, deployed an important medical, sanitary and logistical system – with in particular the requisition of bottles of drinking water – in order to ensure the safety of the event.

23 people fined for driving under the influence of narcotics
