A young farmer died on Tuesday evening in Quissac (Gard), a rural town of some 3,300 inhabitants, in a tragic tractor accident. When firefighters arrived at the scene of the accident, the vehicle he was driving had overturned, falling into a ditch at the edge of a field. The 33-year-old man was stuck under his tractor, said the departmental fire and rescue service.
Despite the very rapid intervention of the firefighters, and the support of the Samu helicopter, the victim died. The circumstances of the accident are not known.
