An investigation has been opened to try to shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy. Saturday July 1, a 3-year-old child fell from the 3rd floor of a building in downtown Sablé-sur-Sarthe. Taken care of by municipal police officers and then by the emergency services, the young child was in critical condition. According to West Francethe little victim is said to have died of his injuries.
The fall occurred around 8 a.m. Saturday morning. According to the first observations made by the investigators, it would be an accident, the child having escaped the vigilance of his mother. The latter was in shock and was taken care of by the emergency services.
