Hertha BSC breathes a sigh of relief and celebrates its first victory in the 2nd division with a goal festival. There are also plenty of goals in Elversberg.

Hertha BSC has stopped its sporting descent and celebrated its first win of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga.

After three defeats at the start of the league without a goal of their own, the capital club from Berlin managed to liberate themselves 5-0 (2-0) against SpVgg Greuther Fürth. Hertha is no longer bottom of the table thanks to their first win. New bottom of the league is the still winless promoted SV Elversberg after the clear 0: 5 (0: 3) home defeat against Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Hansa Rostock, on the other hand, took the lead in the table at least temporarily with a 2-1 (1-1) win over league newcomers VfL Osnabrück.
