29-year-old man dies on top of grain silo

The emergency services, although they arrived very quickly on the scene, were unable to do anything to save him. A 29-year-old man died this Thursday around 3 p.m. in Legé, south of Loire-Atlantique, reports the departmental fire and rescue service.

The victim was in cardiac arrest at the top of a grain silo, 25 meters high, when he was taken care of by firefighters, assisted by the dangerous environment rescue group. The intervention also mobilized the gendarmerie and the mobile emergency and resuscitation service (Smur) of Vendée.
