It was “a good ride” for the entertainers

On Sunday, Joko and Klaas ruled the TV program on ProSieben. What the last few hours looked like and what conclusion the two of them made.
For 24 hours, Joko Winterscheidt (45) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) took over the program on ProSieben on Sunday (April 21st) after winning the 50th episode of “Joko and Klaas against ProSieben” on April 16th. Sunday started at 12:00 a.m. with fireworks and a walk through Berlin’s nightlife and ended with the show “A Very Good Quiz” (from 8:15 p.m.). The entertainers then took stock.
Klaas Heufer-Umlauf: “You don’t have to have it every day”
“You don’t have to have it every day,” said Heufer-Umlauf towards his employer. For Winterscheidt it was “a good ride”. At the end of the day, ProSieben, on the other hand, was enthusiastic about the two presenters’ special program: “Thanks to Joko and Klaas for this unique TV event and thanks to all viewers for being there on television, in the stream and here online!”
Joko and Klaas make Berlin quiz candidate Carola happy
How many people watched the spectacle was shown, among other things, by Joko and Klaas’s last program item: The two of them launched a call in advance for the primetime show “A very good quiz” and invited all viewers who would watch it by April 20th to the Berlin studio and were over 18 years old to take part in the show.
ProSieben published a photo of the XXL queue that had formed in front of the filming location over the course of the day. No wonder, because the moderators promised a “high amount of winnings”. After 25 rounds of questions, Carola secured victory and went home with 100,000 euros more. The entertainers held the moment with a selfie on Instagram: “Congratulations, Carola! Perfect end to 24 hours for Joko and Klaas!”
After videos of stretching exercises and UNO breaks in between, the last post the two made in an Instagram story was a clip of Joko’s legendary red designer boots. In this he once again trudged through the empty studio filled with confetti. “Over & out!” the two wrote.
National holiday for Joko and Klaas?
ProSieben in turn shared a post with a request to Chancellor Olaf Scholz (65, SPD). “I (BroSieben) hereby request a new national holiday for April 21st. Call it ‘Premium Entertainment Day’ or something like that. Joko and Klaas, you did such an insane job. I don’t realize this day yet. It felt like a childhood dream. Simple Machines, I kiss your heart and Carola’s.”
