A sad incident occurred at a music festival on the Expo Plaza in Hanover on Friday evening: rescue workers had to be called because the 21-year-old had fallen to the ground near a stage due to health problems, the police said on Saturday. Several onlookers disturbed the emergency medical service. The young man from Bavaria who had to be treated died a little later. During the operation, the police had to push back several people.

A 43-year-old tried to take pictures of the operation with his cell phone, like this one police described. Investigators found no videos on the device. The man was given a place reference.

The 21-year-old was initially resuscitated and taken to a hospital. However, he died there on Friday evening. The police have launched a death investigation. According to the police, there is no evidence of third-party negligence. The organizer of the festival initially did not comment on the incident.
