Mobile phone tariffs based on the latest standards often include unlimited data volume as well as the option to surf the fast 5G network. This is usually expensive. However, Vodafone currently offers a savings option. Is it worth it?
Smartphones can do more and more, so the monthly data volume often shrinks quickly. Unlimited tariffs with unlimited data volume offer worry-free streaming and surfing. More and more network operators are offering tariffs with unlimited flat rates, even in the 5G network. In addition to Telekom, 1&1 and o2, this now also includes Vodafone.
However, Vodafone in particular is not necessarily one of the cheapest providers; customers have to pay around 80 euros per month for the GigaMobil XL. The provider’s current deals show that it can also be cheaper. There is currently a 20 percent discount on cell phone contracts with 5G, including for the unlimited variants. The bundle with three tariffs including unlimited data volume is said to be particularly worthwhile – we took a closer look.
Tariff combination package at favorable conditions
Vodafone is offering a discounted three-tier tariff package with unlimited data volume until March 27th. This means that three friends or family members can be provided with one contract including data flat rate and 5G. For example, the GigaMobil M tariff can be booked as the main tariff, plus two FamilyCards M. For all three tariffs, the data volume is increased to unlimited, and there is also a 20 percent discount on the two FamilyCards. Three tariffs with unlimited data volume would normally cost 119.97 euros from Vodafone. However, the current offer is reduced by 48 euros to 71.97 euros per month.

If the costs of the tariff bundle are divided evenly by three, everyone pays 23.99 euros per month for a data flat rate in the super-fast 5G network. Telephone and SMS flat rates are also included. But be careful when roaming – there is a data limit. Another small drawback: All three contracts run through one account that is charged 71.97 euros per month. The main contractor must therefore collect the pro-rata costs every month. What should also be noted: If one of the three tariff users wants to cancel their contract, the combination package will be broken down into its individual parts. This means that the two remaining tariffs will be billed at the regular conditions. Nevertheless, the Vodafone deal is not to be despised and is particularly worthwhile for family members.
