Would you like a new cell phone tariff? Freenet currently offers a 20 gigabyte all-net flat rate on the Vodafone network for a slim 7.99 euros per month. We look at what’s in the small print.
Just under eight euros per month for 20 gigabytes of LTE data volume, that sounds good. Especially since the whole thing is offered in the optimally developed Vodafone network with a stable data transfer rate of 50 megabits per second – cheap Vodafone tariffs are rather rare anyway. Is there a catch?
Deal in the Vodafone network: 20 gigabyte all-net flat rate
Vodafone’s Green LTE tariff is available from Freenet for a limited time for a monthly fee of 7.99 euros. This includes 20 gigabytes of data volume, but also a flat rate for telephony and SMS as well as a corresponding EU roaming flat rate. This tariff normally costs 36.99 euros per month – with this offer you can save 29 euros per month. That’s a discount of 783 euros over the contract term of 24 months. In addition, Freenet also waives the one-time connection price of 39.99 euros if an SMS with “AG Online” is sent to 22240 within 30 days of activating the tariff (this SMS costs 19 cents).

Those interested should only be careful if the contract is extended after 24 months, because then the reduced monthly price will be increased back to the regular 36.99 euros. A timely termination of the tariff should therefore be noted. If you want to save even more, you should definitely send enough SMS to avoid the connection price.
The alternative at Blau.de
There is also currently a good deal at Blau.de. Until the beginning of July, users who are looking for a new tariff can get a 25 gigabyte all-net flat rate for 9.99 euros. The basic monthly price is slightly higher than with Freenet, but there is an additional five gigabytes of data volume on top. The connection price, which normally costs 29.99 euros, is currently no longer applicable.

If you are looking for a new tariff option with favorable conditions, you will definitely find it online. Freenet offers 20 gigabytes for just under eight euros, which is a good basis even for frequent surfers. But if you want a little more, you can add another five gigabytes at Blau.de, but you also pay around two euros more per month for the tariff.
