A real tragedy has been shaking the Borny district of Metz since late Thursday afternoon. It was there, around 5:45 p.m., that firefighters intervened after the accidental fall of a 2-year-old child. He fell from a window located on the 7th floor of a building, reports The Lorraine Republican.
The victim was in cardiorespiratory arrest when emergency services arrived, who rushed him to a nearby hospital. The boy was not alone in the apartment when the tragedy happened, according to the regional daily. An investigation is underway.
