Asymmetrical composition or very wise alignment: it’s all about taste. However, it is a good idea to also consider the configuration of the room and, most importantly, the wall space you have available.
On a small section of wall, a wise alignment and a symmetrical arrangement is a smart option for composing a balanced wall of frames.
A large section of wall allows for daring compositions, especially as you can fall for XXL formats by selecting your frames.
For a perfect rendering, it is recommended to position your wall of frames at eye level – in other words, 1.70 m in height.
If the frame wall should ideally rise to eye level, it is permissible to drop it almost to the plinth.
The followers of a sharp decoration will push the direction of the detail until planning the arrangement of the decoration – here, retro armchair and green plant – to create a wall of frames which highlights it.
