A 17-year-old was killed in a traffic accident near Rosenheim. According to police reports, three 17 to 20 year olds were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The 17-year-old from Rosenheim died at the scene of the accident.
According to the police, the 20-year-old driver was driving on Kirchbachstrasse in the Fürstätt district on Friday evening. He lost control of the vehicle, left the road and crashed into a tree.
A 20-year-old from Kolbermoor and a 17-year-old from the Riedering municipality were sitting in the car next to the driver. Some of them were taken to hospitals in a rescue helicopter.
The Rosenheim police station took over the investigation into the accident. In addition, the Traunstein public prosecutor’s office / Rosenheim branch commissioned an accident analysis and technical report. In addition to numerous personnel from the rescue service and the Rosenheim volunteer fire department, the so-called crisis intervention teams from the BRK Rosenheim and the Johanniter Wasserburg were also on duty to provide psychological support.
