Wallpaper: the main trends of the season
With the emergence of the minimalist trend, wallpaper has become more essential than ever in our interiors. More than ever, we are counting on it to give character to the bedroom or living room. To tell the truth, this season, it invites itself more than ever in the ponds.
So we do not hesitate to use wallpaper in the kitchen or in the bathroom.
As for colors, the wallpaper scrupulously sticks to the general trends of the season. The deep colors are thus lighter, and the contrasts softer. While deep blue remains trendy, we prefer lighter green: sage green, celadon green, olive or khaki.
Warm colors are also lighter. The trendiest color is still the terracotta shade, and we play with intensity – from nude to its darkest variation.
Bright colors remain essential – with a predilection, always, for the color ecru.
The big trend of the season is undoubtedly textured wallpaper. Inseparable from the Mid Century style, we also like it in interiors with a minimalist spirit – whether very contemporary or Japanese-inspired.
We love it for its ability to enlarge the space as much as for its decorative potential, and that’s good news: this season again, panoramic wallpaper stands out as a safe bet!
One of the trends of the season is the monochrome decoration, which simply consists of declining a color. For a cozy and trendy interior, we do not hesitate to associate the wallpaper with a paint of lighter intensity or, on the contrary, more pronounced.
