The 15th “TV Total Wok World Cup” took place on Saturday evening. ProSieben took primetime victory with the sporting event.

After the new edition in autumn 2022, “TV totally went Wok World Cup” took place again last Saturday evening (November 11th). In the single WOK, “Wok World Cup” veteran Joey Kelly (50) took victory in Winterberg and thus defended his title. The former luger came in second place Armin Zöggeler (49), influencer Sophia Thiel (28) in third place.

Team Germany 2 with Thore Schölermann, Pascal Hens, Sven Hannawald and Thorsten Legat won the four-person WOK. Team Italy 2 (Mario Novembre, Riccardo Basile, Stefano Zarrella, Valentina Maceri) and Team Austria 1 (Alexander Kumptner, Thomas Morgenstern, Sarah Posch, Julian le Play) lined up behind them. ProSieben was able to achieve strong ratings with the celebrity sports event.

In the target group, the station achieved primetime victory with a 16.8 percent market share (0.69 million viewers). The first new edition featured a live show according to “DWDL” to a little more 17 percent. Last Saturday, the “Beatrice Egli Show” (Das Erste) came in well behind with 9.7 percent (0.49 million) and the ZDF “Erzgebirgskrimi” with 9.4 percent (0.48 million). In terms of daily market share, ProSieben also secured victory among 14 to 49 year olds with 9.8 percent. The “TV total Wok World Cup” started a little late, in the first few minutes “Joko & Klaas Live: The Treasure Hunt” was shown again (0.61 million, 12.5 percent market share).

The “Erzgebirgskrimi” did particularly well with the overall audience aged three and over with 26.4 percent and 6.9 million viewers. The “Beatrice Egli Show” also achieved good ratings with 3.59 million viewers and 14.3 percent in prime time. The “Wok World Cup” averaged 1.47 million and 7.5 percent.
