13-year-old killed and dismembered, probably victim of a cannibal



It is a sordid scenario, worthy of a horror film which was written Sunday evening in Tarascon, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. A 13-year-old was killed and dismembered, his face partly eaten, on his way to his mother’s house, has learned 20 minutes from police sources. The owner of the house, who is suspected to be his executioner, was killed by a deputy policeman who is now the subject of an investigation by the IGPN, the police force.

The case started around 11:15 p.m. when a man called for help, indicating that he had seen a garbage bag in an apartment in Tarascon, the shape of which was reminiscent of a body. Arriving at the scene, the police saw a man fleeing through the roof as they forced the door. Inside, it’s a real horror scene that awaits them: he discovers in the kitchen, under a garbage bag, a body whose right arm and head are missing. This is found in a seal in the bathroom. “It was partly eaten,” says our source. Many satanic objects are also found nearby.

The victim was going to his mother

The victim, a 13-year-old teenager, who fled Friday evening from the Marseille home in which he was placed, was quickly identified. According to the first elements of the investigation, he was probably going to his mother, who lives a few numbers from the apartment in which the minor was found.

The owner of the premises, Arthur A., ​​32 years old, very unfavorably known to the police services for acts of violence and having made several stays in a psychiatric hospital, was located shortly before 3 a.m. in the city center of Arles. . Refugee in a dead end, he tried to escape the police by stepping over a gate before being held by a local resident. According to our information, an assistant police officer nevertheless shot the man suspected of cannibalism. Despite the rapid arrival of help, the latter did not survive. “He may have been panicked, we knew the dangerousness of this man,” said the same source. An investigation was opened by the IGPN, in parallel with the investigation into the death of the minor, carried out by the local PJ.
