10 years of “Dachau reads”: the anniversary program – Bavaria

With a prominent tenth anniversary program, the literature festival “Dachau reads” attracts people to the Ludwig Thoma House in the district town. At the start, the Franconian best-selling author Ewald Arenz presents his current novel “Love on Bad Days” (October 3rd, 8 p.m., moderated by SZ culture editor Bernhard Blöchl). SZ political department head Stefan Kornelius will lead the conversation on Friday, October 6th, 8 p.m., when former Federal President Joachim Gauck presents his book “Shocks. What threatens our democracy from outside and inside”.

Further highlights include the readings by the Ukrainian author and Bachmann Prize winner Tanja Maljartschuk (October 5th, 8 p.m., moderation: Tanja Graf, Literaturhaus Munich) as well as by Tom Hillenbrand (October 7th, 8 p.m.) and Ana Marwan, also with the Bachmann Prize excellent (October 4, 8 p.m.).
