A 69-year-old man died on Friday in a diving accident off Cape Camarat in Ramatuelle (Var), the maritime prefecture said in a press release. The alert was given by a diving support which is located in this sector of the Var commune.
The sexagenarian suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest after an air dive to 37 meters, according to this same source relayed by News Var. Despite the first aid given when help arrived, the victim was declared dead by the doctors.
