Beware, little thought experiment: John Lennon and Paul McCartney travel through time. Some sadistic power pulls the two musicians out of the 1960s and puts them in the hot phase of the corona pandemic. Lockdown in Liverpool, London and elsewhere, “Alone Again” instead of “Come Together”, the whole program. Instead of being in Abbey Road Studios, the two musicians are suddenly sitting in front of their computers like millions upon millions of employees, staring at the screen and trying to write songs together via teams, zoom, Skype – each alone with a guitar in his room.
