Zlatan Ibrahimovic is full of praise for Bayern Munich. Above all, the history of the club impresses the Swedish superstar.
Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic has raved about Bayern Munich, calling them “an incredible club”.
“Every time you play against them you see the conditions, the stadium and the organisation. The history of the club is impressive,” Ibrahimovic said image. In the course of his career, Ibrahimovic met FC Bayern six times with his different clubs. Last time in 2006 with Inter Milan.
The 40-year-old currently plays in Serie A at AC Milan, where he has scored eight goals and two assists in 22 competitive games this season. With the Swedish national team, Ibrahimovic is fighting for a World Cup ticket against Poland on Tuesday.
Ibrahimovic: “Awards are political”
Throughout his long and distinguished career, he has not won the Ballon d’Or for reasons unrelated to football.
“These awards are political,” lamented Ibrahimovic. “They want Mr. Perfect. If you speak your mind, you don’t get these awards. But that doesn’t change anything for me. It doesn’t make me better or worse.”
