Yuga Labs, creator of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT token collection, has launched a “community council” made up of renowned Ape collectors. To help expand the existence of Web3, the company announced the news in a post.blog
“This council was formed with the task of providing feedback to Yuga Labs and community-driven projects. and continue to receive feedback and suggestions from the community,” the blog post states.
The council consists of seven members, namely – Josh Ong , Sera , Laura Rod , 0xEthan , 0xWave , Negi and Peter Fang – and Yuga said the council will grow over time.
The Council’s primary task is to leverage the Web3 initiative in the Bored Ape Yuga community, where commercial products, social gatherings, and charity events will be promoted.
Yuga said this was not the last NFT council came together to help expand the brand. “We are exploring the changing needs of our other Yuga NFT communities – CryptoPunks, Meebits and Otherside,” the company said in a blog post.
