Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Netflix is releasing the new romance Your Place or Mine starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher.
February 14th is Valentine’s Day again. How fitting that Netflix released a new romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon (46) and Ashton Kutcher (44) just a few days earlier. “Your Place or Mine” will be available on the streaming service from February 10th, the first trailer is already available.
Fans of the genre should get exactly what they expect. The script was written by Aline Brosh McKenna (55), who was also responsible for the scripts for “The Devil Wears Prada” and “27 Dresses” and also directs them.
A trade with consequences
The director tells the story of Debbie (Witherspoon), her son (Wesley Kimmel) and Peter (Kutcher), who the single mother is close friends with, albeit very opposites. While she likes her busy life in Los Angeles, Peter enjoys adventurous New York. For a week, they swap homes and lives – and discover that maybe they both need something different than they thought.
In addition to Witherspoon and Kutcher, “Your Place or Mine” includes “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams (41), Rachel Bloom (35), Steve Zahn (55), Zoë Chao (37) and comedian Tig Notaro (51 ) to see.
