The maybe-soon-owner of the platform, Elon Musk, is delighted and writes “Welcome back my friend”. Less than two days later, the reactivated account is blocked again: the short episode that attracted attention from the rapper and music producer Kanye West, who has been calling himself Ye for four years, is considered in some circles to be an example of the dictatorship of opinion on the Internet. For example in the circles he moves into with increasing speed. “Who do you think invented the cancel culture?” Ye asked on Twitter shortly before the end of the broadcast, that’s the rhetorical, brightly anti-Semitic question.
